This helps to reduce back pain, increase support of bladder, bowel and growing uterus and helps your body cope with pregnancy induced postural changes and discomforts.
Postnatal pilates is designed to help you recover from giving birth.
Sessions focus on checking (and correcting if there is one) the gap between the 'six pack' muscles, the so-called Diastasis Recti, reconnecting back to the deep tummy muscles, pelvic floor, diaphragm and back muscles. Strengthening these muscles will help you cope with the physical and emotional challenges of being a new mum and will assist you getting back in shape.
